A NEW HOME FOR GRENADIER.
NOW BUILT IN SOUTH CAROLINA.

INEOS Automotive is coming to Florence, South Carolina. We’re establishing our first world-class production facility in the United States — built to produce the Grenadier line of vehicles for North America.

The new Florence facility will be built in an 870-acre Technology and Commerce Park, with direct access to the interstate and Inland Port Dillon. At approximately 2.26 million square feet, it will be a serious manufacturing operation built to deliver at scale. The $700 million investment will create 1,300 new jobs and give Grenadier a major new production base in South Carolina.

A serious facility for a serious 4X4.

A PUB. A PINT.
AND AN IDEA.

It started in London in 2017. INEOS Chairman and Founder Sir Jim Ratcliffe, car enthusiast, adventurer and lifelong believer in doing things properly, saw something missing. The traditional, hardworking 4X4 was disappearing. So he decided to build one.

The idea was first sketched out with friends at The Grenadier pub in Belgravia, London. The pub gave the vehicle its name. The idea gave INEOS Automotive its purpose.

From that first conversation in a London pub came a vehicle designed, engineered and tested to work almost anywhere. And the story is still being written. The next chapter starts in South Carolina.

EASY NEVER CHANGED ANYTHING.

Not in manufacturing. Not in engineering. Not in science, energy or elite sport. And certainly not here. At INEOS, we take challenges head-on. Because progress takes determination. It takes discipline. And sometimes it takes a sense of humor.

Our teams work in a culture built around safety, quality and continuous improvement. INEOS Group’s zero-tolerance approach to safety is fundamental to the way we operate, while quality is everyone’s responsibility — from the first component to the finished vehicle. Because building something this capable takes capable people.
